Action required:       Identify real emails from the FCA against scam ones. Please distribute internally.

The FCA has issued a warning about recent fake emails that appear to request firms provide information via RegData.  This is the latest in a long line of requests for information supposedly coming from the FCA.

The regulator has confirmed that it is not an official data request.

We're not aware of the contents of the email referred to, but they are being circulating from the domain '@gabriel-FCA.org.uk' and are:

·      connect3@gabriel-FCA.org.uk

·      connect4@gabriel-FCA.org.uk

·      connect5@gabriel-FCA.org.uk

·      connect6@gabriel-FCA.org.uk

If you do receive this type of email, do not click on any links within it and delete it.
